Last Sunday, Fiona and I had afternoon tea at the laduree restaurant in harrods. We sat upstairs on the gorgeous balcony section overlooking all the gorgeous pastries and macaroons. We weren't supposed to take photos but we managed to sneak in heaps. Here they are:

The prices for the afternoon tea were very reasonable compared to other places in London ( £21 for tea, 2 cakes, 2 pastries and 2 sandwhiches), however, the rest of the menu was very expensive (over £15 for an omlette, and £13+ for a bellini). Still, it's worth it just to be in such a gorgeous little place, and the food is delicious!

Today Fiona and I are continuing our Sunday afternoon tea tradition by going to Louis in Hampstead. I'm hoping that any photos we take today will beat the laduree ones with a stick considering I bought myself this baby yesterday:

That's a rubbish photo! I went to Jessops yesterday just to look at the cameras and couldn't resist this one! It came with 2 lenses (one super duper tele-something one for landscapes, and the usual one?). I'm trying to figure out how to use the bloody thing but will get there eventually! I'm supposed to be writing an essay this weekend but that has well and truely gone out the window! Oh well...
